012: Stunt Car Racer


Microstyle (The New Tracks: AmiGer)
Uses: WHDLoad by Wepl, slave by Codetapper

Geoff Crammond's other legendary racing game for Amiga. Includes AmiGer's "The New Tracks". Both versions can optionally be played with Galahad's "Turbo" patch applied - the speed is insane on a stock CD32, I can't imagine what it would be like on an expanded one!

Newly updated version now supports fastram equipped Amigas.

    Thanks for this! I have a question about linking 2 CD32s together somehow (if it is even possible - or whether cables exist through the AUX-port) and playing some (or all) of the versions here via linking? Thanks.

      I asked for you on Facebook, the short answer is it should work.

      Here's a photo of SCR running between an Amiga 500 and a CD32. It should work just the same (actually easier between two CD32s as the cable alone would be required).

      The longer answer is, we can't guarantee it'll work for games other than Stunt Car Racer. Also you'll need a specialised cable obviously, the mini-din instructions I were given were:

      Pin 2 (Serial Tx) to Pin 6 (Serial Rx),
      Pin 6 (Serial Rx) to Pin 2 (Serial Tx),
      Pin 3 (Gnd) to Pin 3 (Gnd).
